On November 15th, we suffered a heartbreaking loss within the IAR family. Angela, who dedicated more than a decade of her life to our charity, was not only a valued colleague but a cherished friend. She cared passionately about our cause, and her love for animals shone through in everything she did. Her professionalism, kindness, and unwavering commitment played a vital role in ensuring our supporters always feel appreciated and connected to our work.
As a small and close-knit team, we are devastated to lose someone so special. Our thoughts, love, and deepest sympathy are with Angela’s family and friends; especially her husband and daughter, who have supported IAR so warmly over the years and who will always remain part of our extended family.
Words feel painfully inadequate at a time like this. What brings us comfort are the memories we shared; the Christmas parties, the away days, the laughter, the Rainforest Runs, and Angela’s wonderful, gentle sense of humour. These moments, and the warmth she brought into our lives, will stay with us always.
Rest in peace, sweet Angela. You will be profoundly missed and forever remembered with love by all of us at International Animal Rescue.
