Guernsey residents were treated to 'Stories of Survival' by International Animal Rescue's (IAR) President, Alan Knight OBE, in a presentation about our worldwide animal rescue initiatives.

Today, 1st April, marks our 10th Anniversary of Cakes for Apes. The month-long 'bake-off' encourages people to bake cakes to fundraise and support orangutan conservation efforts.

International Animal Rescue, along with our partners, Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), have freed a suffering bear from a small welded cage and started an urgent appeal.
